  11. There's no need for cold water on the parade. As a possible unrewarded
  12. programmer, I would be happy to donate a few classes in the hopes that others
  13. would respond in kind. Altruism among programmers and computer people may be
  14. rare, but one can hardly say that CompuServe, BitNet, Internet, and the other
  15. services are roaring failures. Their libraries are stuffed with example code
  16. and donated programs.

  18. A Macapp-oriented shareware library seems to be a very good idea. Without
  19. prognosticating on its future, I say let's get on with the idea. Also, I would
  20. recommend not judging its success or failure for many months; I would not be
  21. surprised if these ventures take time to grab hold and develop.
